My mind still cannot fathom the wonderful mysteries of God. After watching my wife give birth, I could do nothing but think of how incredible God is. As I sit here in this hospital room tonight and stare at my sweet little son, I continue to focus on God’s awesome power. I think about creation and how the world began with God’s voice speaking into existence the world. The uniqueness of the world and the human body always brings me back to an aw of God. I know I will continually be in aw of such a marvelous Creator. Not only has he created the world and the human body, but he also stepped down from his high position and came to this earth to die for the very people he created. Because He died, I live. I pray that one day, my son may understand what it means to truly live, in Jesus Christ.

Here in just a few hours, our first baby will begin his life. How exciting! It is the strangest feeleing in the world, I’m excited and scared at the same time. I know sweet little Jack will be unable to do anything on his own. He will be completely dependent on his mother and I to take care of him. I couldn’t be more blessed.
Birth is an amazing thing. The whole process, I’ve learned, is incredibly awesome. I continue to be amazed at God’s amazing ability to do incredible things.
We’re sitting here just waiting on Jack. I’ll post some pictures later.
